Ink Recto Verso is about a town built inside the page of a book. Both sides of the page will bring something different.
The Recto side if a town management and resource collection.
The Verso side if a tower defense, far away from the candle lighting the book.

For the Alchemy and Shadow theme:

I saw Alchemy as like and endless study, of notes and writing when the idea of transmutation began. This is why the world of this game is in the page of a book.

For the Shadow theme, a bit like the idea of light makes shadow, a page has two sides. Both will bring a different type of gameplay, and resources from one will be needed for the other.

This is a really cool concept. Your art looks fantastic! If you're interested in feedback, the audio transition between the two sides could use a bit of a fade in/out, but that's more of an aesthetic thing than a gameplay thing. Nice work though!

Very cute designs and loving the concept, it's fun seeing my little guys gather ink and building them a village, congrats keep it up!!

The city builder features are cool, but I'm not sure how to access the tower defense content. Really love the art!  Congrats on your first game jam!
